In my small hands I hold a rainbow
With just a breath it is blown Across the sky, arcing gracefully Shimmering its brilliant hues In my small hands I hold destiny With just a breath it is scattered Across time, through space Falling where it may In my small hands I hold time With just a breath it ceases to exist It just slips away Dissipating like mist In my small hands I hold life With just a breath it is born Small, fragile, crying softly I cradle it close, protecting it from all harm |
