that is a good question. How is anybody gonna get to know anybody when nobody is using this thread. This could be a really good thing, how should we try to lure people in?

Last year my brother was in New Orleans for business so he invited me and he stayed a couple extra days. They were really friendly there; a bartender offered us some of her crayfish and she taught us how to shell and eat it. Of course, if there were vendors on Nicollet Mall wearing body-signs that read "Yes, it's okay to drink in the streets" like they do on Bourbon Street then we'd probably be pretty friendly too!

i just really honestly think why would people not try to meet/chat/whatever with people in their own state. this thread is as good as DEAD!!!!!! No wonder you cant get a date in this state.

I agree. I would like to see this thread kick up again so I can get to know some new people! That's why I joined this site, and I'm assuming that's why (at least some) other people did too.
