I knew that the peddlers of vice and dope
were untouchable, like a married man's wife. I knew that the Mafia's arm was long and it's hand held a killer's knife. I knew the willing women they would send to tempt and betray me. I knew with out my own nerve, strength and skill, they would surly slay me. I knew the white hate within me for the crimelord and his gunman So I walked alone, shadows of gallows like I was a hung man. Into the very heart of gangland I walked and made a stand the law had failed, so now I was the holy grail. Justice will be dealt and the beaten fist of the innocent will be felt. I'm just one man, but my legacy my honor my obituary will be that of a pride of lions. A .38 a fistful of hate and a blond to date. just another day, just another lie, just another temptation, smell the air what a good day to meet your fate. The Avenger must stand alone the bullets, the knives they dig to the bone, but I won't die, I won't shed a tear, for the shadow of the Avenger will keep crime in fear. |

Growing my children was in a hard lifed neighborhood, gangs, prostitues, drugs all around. Your heart has captured the fear and pain we were entrenched in. a stark reminder. strong words well felt.
