Just received this, too bad all companies dont jump on this
"Dear AAPC Members, All of you are as painfully aware, as we are, of the high cost of gasoline. The cost just to drive to and from work has skyrocketed and I am concerned for the effect it has on our employees and their families. Accordingly, AAPC is implementing “Summer Hours” beginning May 1 and ending September 30. This will enable our employees to work four 10-hour days rather than the normal 5-day workweek. With today’s high costs, saving even 20% can be a lot to a family. Summer Hours means that on Fridays, our office will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mountain time. That is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Central and 7 a.m. to Noon Pacific. Monday through Thursday hours will remain the same. We hope you do not find this too much of an inconvenience. AAPC’s national office is still here to serve you. Thank you" |

My job has been trying to get this for a few years now......I really wish they would do it, because I drive 40 miles each way to work. Would save me a bundle.

My job has been trying to get this for a few years now......I really wish they would do it, because I drive 40 miles each way to work. Would save me a bundle. My normal commute is from the house to the garage. In coffee, I probably get 2 pots per 100 yards. My condolences on that driving to work gig as I only drive to play. ![]() |

4-10's are great! I always loved them! We have a couple hospitals here that if you work 3-12's you get paid for 40. I always seemed to get the jobs where you work 60 and get paid for 40 but receive a warm thank-you for your effort!
