Here we go, lumping all older men together. BS, some guys want arm candy, sure why not. I was married to a lady 9 yrs older then I, have dated ladies older than that. Age is not a factor for me, personality & how a lady presents herself, are my guidlines. Maybe there is something about how you treat the men contacting you. Why not look for friends frst & then see where it goes. That is what I do here. Didn't mean to irritate you, oldsage. I asked if anyone noticed "how many"...and there are. I wasn't lumping EVERY man into that category. As for me, I was married to a man who was eight years younger, but he couldn't keep up with me. I agree it's what's inside that counts most. What I was speaking of are the men who do advertise for only women up to a certain age, only looking for a body. And I agree some women are like that, too. But my topic was about a particular group. I'd date someone older or younger. Big things for me is if they're responsive here or not and if we get to talking on the phone or not and if the person keeps appointments or cancels them. I don't have much spare time so if I make an appointment/date and it gets broken, it's kind of a show slower or a show stopper for me. Same thing with phone calls that don't get returned. A real dampener on things.
