Old man that taught me alot said, any day you don't learn something; was a WASTED day.
We wasted no day we were together. Taught me many things I maybe shouldn't have known at that age. |

My Dad had a heart attack a year ago Feb.Since my Mom passed away in 98 I have been trying to get to know him better.There's nothing wrong with his memory. I try to get home often and now that they are working the land I will be heading home to help out.Besides there are new arrivals twin calves and kittens I have to check out.Have I bored you yet?

My dad is still in the "home", and not getting any better. I think we will bring him home in about a week, w/hospice.

I'm 52 and went back this year for my RN. Its been hard to juggle everything but have a 3.5 GPA and going bald from tearing my hair out!

I changed careers and entered the full time workforce at age 40 and 42 respectively. I began working on a masters degree at age 44 after being out of school for over 20 years. There were many times when I wanted to quite, but now, 5 years after I finished my masters, I am very glad I finished. As a matter of fact, I've gone on to take classes every summer since I finished my degree.

I didn't have to take math the last time around, although I liked it in HS. Wow that's a long time ago.

you are never too old to learn something new, I have been building powerlines for 34 yrs, and still learn something every day, even some of the youngsters I am teaching show me things I haven't thought of, keeps it interesting

I did the "back to school" thing in '90. I was working graveyard and going to class during the day. Final grade A- Not bad for an "oldie"
