Another quick question, how many of you all are setting the grade curves in your classes? ![]() In Grad school u have to maintain a B average or they will place u on academic probation and then kick ya out, A GPA carries more weight in undergrad. So prepare urself when u go and understand it a lot of writing papers 15-30 pages long with alot of research and references.......WHEW !!! just thinking about it made me take a deep breath What ever you do, do it to ur best and enjoy it as much as possible ....Good Luck on ur finals. |

I am attending ITT-Tech studying drafting and thinking about construction management. I intend to work with low income agencies to help low income people in Clark Co. WA. Housing is in big demand in this area.

Getting to the end of nursing school and it's been great! While getting my first degree I figured I could retake a class I failed but could not retake a party I missed ![]() ![]() The smart ones are always students of something. I started with self-taught computer programming, added electronics, and later, taught myself machining and drafting. Now I build automated equipment from raw materials and an idea. Work like this is not really a job. It's too much fun to be called one. |

I was a CNA from 1995 to 2000. This fall I'll be taking online classes to get my LPN, and then onto RN. I'm a senior at UND, Grand Forks in business administration but don't plan to complete that program. Glad to see other mid-lifers out there changing professions. Shaun

After an automobile accident I enrolled to get an As. Degree for Animation Technology. The first time I went to trade school I didn't need to take English, Pych, etc. I did well last semester and I'm proud of myself for that! (especially after not being in a classroom for 25 years!) Next fall my classes start for my major, I can't wait! And yes it is a major life change after being an autobody repairman and production welder for 20 years.
