I managed a retail store, and one night on the way out to my car I found a McDonalds bag in the parking lot, so I threw it in my car to throw away later.
I stopped at a gas station on my way home, and cleaned out my car, and took the bag out, it felt kinda heavy, so I looked in it and found $238.00 |

One morning I was throwing out the trash in the dumpster behind a store I used to manage. I hear someone say, "hey!!" A man had slept in the dumpster overnight.
I would not call that cool, but worthy of mentioning all the same... |

One morning I was throwing out the trash in the dumpster behind a store I used to manage. I hear someone say, "hey!!" A man had slept in the dumpster overnight. I would not call that cool, but worthy of mentioning all the same...  Somebody found a guys head in the dumpster here a couple years ago. Thats all there was. Just a head. Never did figure out who he was.

I love trash picking!! (The kids are all mortified when I slam on my brakes at the curb passing someone else's trash....but oh well!)
I've gotten the best stuff - a drop leaf table that's on my deck, two of the most comfortable chairs, again on my deck, a sturdy bench that's in my yard and a way cool old work bench that now sits in my drive as my potting table. A coat of paint does wonders... |
