i think the lights go out forever. I think that there is a certain part way back in your brain that lives on and there is another realm I believe. I believe there is no judge. You are your own judge and the biggest and hardest challenge is with yourself.

probably the same thing that happened before I was born. you know that they speak of a light at the end of the tunnel. maybe that is the light from childbirth. maybe we are being born into a new world. good point.

we die from the inside out. when the breathing stops, the spirit leaves, and depending on our walk with god and our work on earth, we either go to heaven or hell. now if we are mormon, we go to some far off planet like 3rd rock from the sun.

as for me I did die. in an automobile accident. But it wasn't my time I guess. I came back to life.

Two great books to read that might give you something to think about, The Five People you meet in Heaven and a young teen's book called The Heavanly Village by Cynthia Rylant. Great food for thought.
