I am sorry that I have not bought the book yet Lex. But I have read this awesome book, and have to agree with everything that LA is saying. It was not one that was east to put down at all. All though I had to cause it only got sent to me in pieces....

Can't wait till the second one either. I am excited about it.

As a writer, I find feedback from readers to be very important and helpful. "Moving Day" is a bit different, as stories go, in that there are a lot of things going on all at the same time, and some of those things really drift away a bit from the "genre" -- which is intentional. It sets up the stuff that comes later on....

Like the "Khattum Shud" reference early on -- that doesn't really factor into the story until the sixth book....

Well, the second one is being formatted right now and it should be available after another round of proofreading and maybe rearranging some of the pieces (the second one is a book of short stories and poems, and some of the short stories are linked to "Moving Day").

Weav is based on my dog Rusty, who I had as a kid, and who I still miss every day. She used to sleep under my bed, and I never felt safer than I did in those days.
