I freely give money to anyone that asks, lol if I have it on me.
And I give to hundreds of jars at local truckstops for evryone from babies to elderly folks who live local to the truckstop.
And help as many souls on here who need a friend,,,and drive about 3000 miles a week, so thin is me,,,,,lol

helped organize relief for students that were burned out of their apartment building

last yr I tapped out a credit card....drove thru PA,DEL,Maryland,Into Virginia....picked ups someone in need...helped them completely...wanting nothing in return..

and got screwed over..

So now..I am just simply me..kind....but...it's my time..I have done so much in my life for many others...

one day...I will give again...I will figure out then ..what i will do...

Bought a used car for someone who needed it, have ran errands for several elderly people, made several baskets..one had alot of ramen noodles, cheap mac and cheese boxes,lg bag of brown beans, cheese and bread...the other had soap, deoderant, toothpaste, shampoo, dish soap....and left them on a needy family's porch so they wouldn't know who gave it to them.

I am pretty poor myself, but send money to the DAV. Disabled American Veterens. They don't care what you send, it all helps. Most of the time I really don't have it to send, so I send $2.00-$5.00. And they always keep me in more then enough return address labels, I love them. The vets and the labels.


I have done lots of other things too, but this is always my favorite one to help.

Knightless that's awesome! *hug* I am sure they were very grateful. I don't usually support large charities. I like to help people directly & hope that they "pass it forward" when they are able. You don't know what good deeds you may inspire.

I just gave my stepsister (who's 5 months pregnant - this isn't the one that other thread was about) a full back massage and then massaged both her feet, after I watched her boys today AND cleaned up the lil one's 2 pee accidents on the carpet and a poo accident in the laundry room, and asked for no massage in return. I'd say that's pretty darn charitable.

I donate blood all the time and do the 3 or 4 bag thing,,,,It take's about 1:30 every 2 week's,,,,

Gave so far 80 hours of my time restoring a WW2 aircraft so it can be shown to the public for many years to come

A buddy of mine at work had his starter go out in his truck. So, he saw my truck next to his and waited about 10 or so minutes for me to come out to the parking lot. He had a standard transmission, so we tried to push/start it, but it wouldn't work. So, he asked for a ride to his home. Now, thing is, I was really pressed for time and had to be somewhere (I was running late). But he needed help so I helped him. I could have been a bastard about it and all, but I wasn't. So, I got him home. He offered me gas money, but I refused said. Told him I might need him to help me out one day. Even though I was late, I was happy that I could help him out. Seems nowadays that alot of people are just selfish and won't help when they can. I know there will come a time when I need help with something. All of us will. So be kind people.
