Yeah I don't know what Im going to do. Being poor sucks. If I lived in the city, I'd walk or take the bus. But here in this small town, you need a car to get from A. to B.

Gas... or Diesel fuel? Gas is still around 3.14 here in VA, but diesel is over 4.00

$3.25 here in Central IL.....got two days yet before I can put gas in my car again....with my luck it will go up again on Friday if not before

unleaded gas is 3.56-3.76 and diesel is 4.56 a gallon....

I wonder why there is so much difference in prices here? Is someone throwing darts to determine how much to charge in certain areas or what? I want my cost to be $3.14 like Dave2722!

Probably quite a bit of the difference in prices nationally are the different taxes that are applied. Would not surprise me much if someone came up with data that said taxes are more than a quarter of the cost per gallon.
I know it completely sucks in the short term, but if this leads to greater use of biofuels, or other types of 'better' energy it may be in the long term a beneficial trend. |
