My parents seperated when i was seven

yes there were times i wanted to live with my dad,
Because of the same thing...no rules.

But one thing my mom always did...she never never talked bad about my dad in front of us. even though she definitly had reason too(i see that now) but she did refrain. And because of that i respect her a lot more. But she also always showed me what love was, even if she was strict..she had a love that a child always feels. And when i was older if i still wanted to live with my dad she would have let me. (she did my older brother) but once I was older i understood her intent a lot more. The five year old is just missing her Dad...and sometimes you have to give in a little..let her stay an extra week...my mom use to do that..and i'd be begging to go back home. but that's what worked for the kids in my famile(10 kids) only one went to live with my Dad...and well let's just say he's not better off for it.
