Years ago the thought of having a relationship with someone that lived far away was laughable to me. I just wouldn't give it a second thought or chance if it was "known" there was no future.
Now that I'm old and wise, I can see the forest for the trees and understand how valuable a good, close, friendship is no matter the distance or the circumstances. I'd rather have good, deep, heartwarming conversations with someone I can't be with, rather than waste time with inane banter that is constantly surrounding me. That's just my opinion, of course I could be wrong...
