In a place where skies are hid A place where sunlight fades, Where tears have formed their rivers deep, The forest lost it's shade. Where once I heard sweet music, Now a thunder calls, Something's lost and hid in stone Behind the tearful falls. The field I walk, no longer green But cast in hues of brown, Destroyed here was a beauty, The flowers all cut down. Don't let your eyes become so closed, Creator show your face! My friend you have the power To heal this lovely place. Through pain you are afflicted But through hope you draw the sun, By friends you are uplifted And through faith, my friend, you've won.
