$91 Billion : The cost of reinstating the Death Tax.

$29 Billion: The amount spent in 2006 by Congress on frivolous "Pork" projects that use taxpayer funds to reward local special interests and pressure groups.

$1,480 The average cost in 2000 for couples punished by the Marriage Penalty.

44 Million: The number of married couples affected by the Marriage Penalty before it was reduced by President Bush. These families will be hit hard once again if the Marriage Penalty is reinstated.

Just some information to think about if President Bush's tax cuts are not made permanent.

Why would this burden fall on the middle class, when you would really make ten times that rolling back the cuts he made on the oil companies and corporations? Just by rearranging the programs the budget subsidizes you could come out ahead, while providing real help for Americans! Real help in areas like education and health!

Then there's the billions he spent on mismanagement of the war in Iraq!

Democrats (IF they get in) will raise taxes so high even YOU will be screaming. AND, it will not pay for the war. It will go to the democrats 'pork' projects.

A lot of these jobs are min wage! Now look up there at the GDP-per capita, it doesn't mean everyone makes that, that's an average. Considering how many in this country level below the poverty line, I think that number signifies a growing gap between the haves and the have-nots!

Most of those tax-cuts Bush has given have went to the wealthy. In the meantime the infrastructure is being ignored. Bridges are crumbling from age, dams are doing the same, and then FEMA dumped the Katrina fiasco in with that!
Then you have an aging population, many of which have no health insurance or retirement benefits.

I know Bush isn't the blame for it all, but if the Democrats offered a better choice than the two they are giving us, I'd jump so hard, and so fast away from John McCain, you wouldn't see me move!
(IMO) That just means that we are left with no real choice, or hope, in this election. I'm just trying to pick the one that will do the less harm! After 8 yrs of Bush, you'd think that wouldn't be hard to do!
