Topic: WELCOME TO THE GREEN DRAGON'S INN ! - part 2 | |
---|---|
she enters the Inn with her old flourish. the scent of jasmine fills the air. her wolf trods patiently beside her. Good day everyone, how is everyone this fine day?? Good Day, Miss Re'Anna, I'm a little weary, but I suppose other than that , I'm alright. *He looks lazily over to Boromir and speaks.* Sir Boromir, perhaps a little Elvin wine with help to calm my nerves. |

Agreed *Rathils mood going a little more dim* If only they opened those gates, i'd give those orcs the fight of their lives. Look at the brightside boy-o they are there, you are here, they have a long way to come to get to us, and you have a lot of other creatures to worry about before you may be a formidable foe for those orcs, no offense, but I heard about the barbarian, and he's a weak one. Work on fighting some of the lesser foes, build up strength and skill, and you will one day be fighting those orcs 3 at a time like you were squashing a cockroach in the peasent district. "Well I should be saving for a sword and since you offer free training I will take you up on that offer good friend, but be patient I have no clue how to wield anykind of weapon. I am but a son of a armorsmith and I don't even do that for a living. I cannot stand the smoldering heat and the continous annoying banging from a hammer," Boromir replies. I'll tell you what my friend. The next time I get a chance to head out around this city I am going to buy you a nice sword to get you started. "Now that is fascinating. A sword my own! Criani will want to know why the sudden interest in wielding one. I will tell her for my protection. Ha a good one. My protection against any who dare challenge me," Boromir says unreassuringly. He then slumps his shoulders. Well so much for confidence as I don't think I have the nerve to plunge a sword into someone," he finishes looking at the tired elf Vun and wondering if he needs something to drink. Never an easy thing to do my friend. but when it comes down to you or the man that is trying to stab you. You have to let your natural instincts take over. |

Greetings Vun *He looks over to Barbus and raises his glass of newly poured Evil wine to him in greeting. Even when in a state some people may be irritable, this High Elf has never had a problem with his Dark Elf cousins, no matter what others may say about them.* Good Day to you Barbus |

As for the forest, I agree, I wouldn't mind roaming about a little, however, it would be suicide to go out there right now, especially alone. Besides the goblins out there, there are thousands of orcs heading our way according to the parchment Borimor was reading to me earlier. |

how fair you in your travels last night? I heard through the grapevine you found that potion you be after. We did and it was safely delivered to the Princess. I was pleased to serve either way, but I was more than happy to claim my reward of 400 gold along with the rest of the group. |

I could remember when a quest like that could fetch 4 gold, man how times change. I remember when a glass of Elvin Wine cost half a bronze piece. |

Economics can be a funny thing sometimes. |

"Whatever you do with that gold, make sure the Marshall doesn't see your wealth. He will surely want to tax that since the treasury is low from the plunder it suffered," Boromir says as he double checks his small pouch of gold attached to his belt.

well Barbus, it would seem alot has changed.
I don't understand why the orcs think they can invade us. all of them better think twice harming my forest |

I don't understand why the orcs think they can invade us. all of them better think twice harming my forest I hear that, and swear, if one comes within eyesight, I am going to take flight and start fighting, I do not care about the lockdown, as long as my efforts are to keep them out of here, what are the Guards going to say? |
