dunno... the guys i have met aren't the "romantic" type so a leisurely paddle boat ride across the lake, dinner for two on the pier with a nice wine, evening in a hot tub with the end in a themed hotel suite wouldn't be hot? is that an offer??

something completely unexpected and different. The roses, the chocolates and all that are nice but predictable....but if you actually listened to me.......you would know what I would like! A kiss, a hug, a special giving of another daily just to show he cares.

Why is this so hard for people to understand? well I disagree with you. I used to buy roses for my ex daily. I would hide them with notes in unexpected places. I would put them in the cabinet so she found it when she opened ot to make dinner, or the fridge, or on top of the washer, or in the medicine cabinet. I wanted her to know that I was thinking of her even when she was doing those "mundane" house chores

Maybe her favorite flower was an orchid but you never heard her say that. considering we had our own garden, planted together, and took care of our yard together I pretty much knew what she liked, and did not. It was our ame and lasted 7 years. I think I knew what my wife liked, I listened, til the end when i didn't anymore...

sweetwater, romance comes in many forms and means many things to different people. Yes, I enjoy some of the things that have been mentioned so far. Time is an important one - that can be given in many ways. One for me was a friend - one who after my husband died, called me every night for months, around the same time just to say hello, ask how my day was, usually had something to say that would cheer me - much later I appreciated just how thoughtful that was. Washing the dishes after dinner - it's kind of sexy too.

I'd like to see someone that I'm interested in drive for hours just to spend time with me... it'd be even better if they drove all that way and then took me to the coast to enjoy the sunset... That would probably melt my heart right there.
