I do not treat people different becauase of what they wear.
It saddens me that in todays society- we look down on the shabbily dressed, but fail to see what is behind the wardrobes. Clothes do not make a person. Personality does. The only problem I have with what someone wears is when they are showing the arse crack- cause their pants are down on their ankels. That does bother me- I really don't want to see their arse. |

I will confess that I do treat people differently because of how they dress. Perfect example.... I ask police officers for directions because I know they know the area!

I try not to judge, but at times it can't be helped. But, more so, I don't just look at clothes, but mannerisms WITH those clothes.
I learned a long time ago when I was a banker that some really disheveled looking people would come in and they'd have great credit, swell personalities and big bucks, just like some of the suits... And some of the suits were all clothes, no good credit, and were trying to get more by dressing the part. You just never know. |

I think those that are quick to make snap judgement calls are the ones that lose out, especially if they are so superficial not to allow themselves to get to know a person because of what they wear.
I can fit any mold, from jeans/shorts/c0cktail dress/gown etc... but the clothing is not what makes me - my heart and my actions are. |

Ohhh!!! I thought of another...
If they are wearing a black robe I tend to be extra specially respectful and call them "Your Honor". Or if they have a nametag or white/black and they place food on my table I tend to say thank you and leave a tip. |
