I look out the window
And watch as it rains I think of my brother And feel all those old pains I miss him standing There straight and tall He was my rock My fortress my all He'd tell me to stop Feeling sorry for myself And put the pity Back on the shelf A blister on my heart Is this pain And here I go Crying again Now I hear him saying "Hey Sister - Get off your azz Dismiss that blister" I miss his wit His charm and smile And his oh so Eclectic style He drove a truck Called Hillbilly Rock But he was a rocker So what a shock He was a man Of great wealth I don't mean money But family friends and health He carried himself With honor and pride From no task Did he hide Through everything Right till the end This great man Was my best friend Though right now I don't feel great Lurch your life I celebrate |

the love of a sister and brother...doesn't get any better than that.. u both are blessed to have shared a wonderful life.. he is taking care of u..that is why..u have become so strong.. sad days of course...but u are all of what he would want for u..to be today.. his wish for ur happiness..even with him in heavan above.. remember..he is ur brightest star..and the brightest star in the sky above u...

How I love you so!
I'm having a day today and know he is here with me but I just ha dto get it out before it made me any crazier than I already am. He is my light, my peace, my protector and my everything and I love him like no other. As long as I keep him in my heart and share him when I can then I know he will live on forever. Losing his physical self was like losing my breath and not catching it again... I would rather have taken a bullet than that. He will see me happy one day even if it is when I go find him sitting at the right hand of God shouting OOH RAH! Semper Fi! as I take that walk. Send my love to the boys!!
