I do. I grew up unfortunate enough to have parents who thought it would be cute for me to know all the words to the song with my damn name in it.
Ever heard of "Paint Your Wagon"? I think I am the youngest person to actually know the movie, and the actors, and every damn song in the freaking movie. And no, my daughter is not going to have to suffer and learn it. And yes, it is awkward when I introduce myself cause I always say, "You know, Mariah like Paint Your Wagon?" I am slowly learning to associate my name with the "other". (Sorry, I am NOT a fan of Ms. Carey. My sister emailed me this morning.
