Wind entered my life Like winter on the way Leaves swirled around Reminding me of chaos Remanding me for love Names came and went Like days passing by Some remembered Some lost Bitterness never tasted so sweet On my tongue held out to catch the newly fallen rain In hopes of washing away the guilt of trying and failing repeatedly to find Well you know YOU see Nothing more useless than pain Losses counted and regrouped I return again and again To her The past is buried love Time The dirt we use to cover all While awaiting new Growth.. |
