Rolly poly ponies, freckled faced girls
Pig tails tied up with blue ribbon
Is there anything sweeter or considered more right
Than a girl and her pony with that gaint smile?
Too bad I outgrew ponies at the tender age of 9
And rode the big horses most of my life
No cute pigtails for me, only a blond ponytail
Slicked down with sweat in the ring
Working, teaching, seeking to find
A way to reach the horse's mind
The more trouble the better
Buckers, biters, bolters bring them on
I may not be typical or even cute
But d*mn it I'm me
And thats much more fun
