I just watched "The Kite Runner" What a disappointment
The book was one of the best I have read in years. I heard the author on NPR about 3 times, I saw it at Borders, heard all the raves about the book. So broke down and bought it. I cried, I told my daughters it was a terrible story, told beautifully. They read it and agreed. So we have been waiting for the movie. Around here if it doesn't become a blockbuster it doesn't last in the theaters more than a week. Wow I understand why this didn't last long. You don't get but the barest bones of the story.

So was I, I just started renting DVD's again, this was the first one and it sucked.
