Yea guys, we in the western part of Oregon go crazy when it snows, we
are so used to the rain, that we don't know what to do when it snows. We now have 3 inches, which doesn't sound like a lot, but for us it like 3 feet. Watching the news and all the fender benders and people stuck. |

Yea it's a bit funny wathing folks over react! I moved back to the city
a year ago I lived on a small mountain in the Giford Pinchot National forest for 5yrs. in the foot hills of Mt.St.Hellens where 5' of snow was common |

It is hilarious to watch the idiots out there, I lived is Mass. for a
time, and those people deal with it all the time, they are sane drivers. We all freak when there is the suggestion it MIGHT snow! |

I lived 15 miles from the nearest mercantile for 5yrs. I shopped at
Costco & united grocers for most of my canned & boxed food the rest I hunted or fished. |

MAN O MAN! You should be around here when a hurricane is in the Gulf.
You could't even buy a loaf of bread or a six pack if your life depended on it. And the weather people on the news are so obviously disappointed when nothing happens. And to make matters worse, people are stuck with enough bottled water and canned tuna to last a year. The beer goes fast. |

We get ppl here all the time that say, "OH Im used to snow,it snows in
NY, or Penn, or Ohio, Or Mich, etc. Then when it snows they are the first ones you have to go help! They dont understand the effects that gravity and hills have on icy roads! Like I said they are usually the first ones off the side of the road, or in an accident! Strange Aye? |
