well, the snow was from a couple of months ago...

but Mom & Bro says that it has snowed there recently ...


and they live 70 miles apart ,

one near the Olympic Mountains

& one near the Cascade Range

so a big part of western Washington

got hit with snow just this past week...

vast expanses of lush green rolling meadows




and the hills are also alive

with the scary sound & action of rattlers

emerging from their winter dens

listen to Smoky the Bear....


keep your eyes and ears open


when trudging through rugged terrain


anywhere out in the wilderness...


especially where there is tall grass

near rivers, creeks, lakes...

even pools and outside water faucets,

lots to be aware of, & hurt by...
