Lets say you meet someone and you both really enjoy talking to one
another But you can't seem to get them to open up 2 you. What do you do?
At first i thought asking them questions to see if that helps but i
don't wanna make them feel like I'm pushing so whats your answer?

Leave it alone I would say they are not interested in you for more than
a friend leave it at that just remain friends and keep looking. I do
know what your talking about been there done that and finally have to
take it as it is a friendship push it and you will run them off.

yea thats what i was thinking just hoping something different. It just
seems so hard to meet any one when your as shy as me. I don't like bars
except to play pool. Even then i feel outta place. I grew up in the
country kinda isolated from other ppl. I never got use to big crowds of
ppl. Thanks TXS for your input

Look just give it time and don't rush it all good things come to those
that wait. Just don't ask me how long you have to wait lol I have
thought I have found a few goods ones well still waiting so who knows.
By the time I find mine he should have a gold lining instead of a silver

Hello DORK LOL JK I've missed you :)

Getting on the internet and opening up to someone you don't know is
scary busiess sometimes. You never truly know who you're dealing with.
I'm not sure I know of anyone who gets it down 100%. I would think that
if you feel good about who you're contacting and you receive a positive
response, keep at it uptil both parties feel compfortable enough to move
forward. Even under the best of circumstances we all leave ourselves
wide open for a variety of predators, the difference being that we're
adults and we've made this choice to take a chance and make contact.
It's called risk. And like the old saying: It's better have loved and
lost than not to have loved at all. It's a chance I'm willing to take.

way i see it is their is risk in everything we do to some degree. If you

Starchild, I have taken that risk alot in my life. You have a point
though, It is scary.

It is very scary. And nice humor is the best way to a ladies heart
believe me it is not the material things, it is what you say and how
you make them feel. Humor breaks the ice and makes others feel
comfortable with you and makes answering questions much easier. Ya have
to have humor in any relantionship it keeps it exciting.

Well thats one thing i have going for me I have a good sense of humor
and i love to make ppl laugh. Your right tho it is scary but without
risk you have no reward.

Yeah, and what everyone seems to be pointing out--don't take yourself
