Add a tropical beach to that, and that is what I'm dreaming of.

Ha ha... Lol. Don't get us daydreaming now. Tropical Island...
ahh.... I can literally feel the heat seeping into my skin as I picture it... Maybe a bottle of Corona, with a lemon or lime, (for who-ever likes that sorta thing)... dang you sandra... now I'm going thru withdrawals... No snow in Yakima at the moment... but it's still pretty cold. Always so windy here. I'm thinking... Tropical beach... with blue sand... |

My daughter was home for lunch. She said it was snowing at the school. So much for not even a hint of the stuff. That tropical beach is sounding even better. No Corona for me though. A martini will do.

A Martini it is...
And, just in case... I brought a gun... Lol. If you see even one snow flake, don't hesitate to shoot it! |

How old is your little one? (I haven't read your profile yet)
although it's possible by your name, that you were born in 61'. |
My baby is nearly 18.
Congratulations... That's a lot of hard work, sweat, tears, and love.
Does she make you proud? |
Always.
She must be having her graduation pretty soon?
You should conveniently throw her a graduation fling at a tropical beach! Then everybody wins! |
Right, only my checkbook suffers.
Lol.. I hear that! With the way the economy is these days, it's hard to reward anyones extra efforts...
We could all use a break for sure. Guess the only thing left is to order some colored sand in the mail, grab some evian water... (a martini to help the imagination) and go sit in the back yard, pour some sand at your feet, the water in a dish... and pretend your in Jamacia. |

You forgot a heat source. I'm certainly going to need that with the way the weather has been here this spring.
Well, I would never be so brash as to volunteer myself for the job.
Although I'm seriously tempted to fill out an application. Lol... We could bring in a bunch of solar panels to go with your dish of evian, and the sand you poured on your feet... But then you'de just look silly! |
Guess I will just have to trust that the sun does it's job.

This may be kinda weird to say, but, I find it astounding, that you use proper capitalization, and punctuation.
Nobody does that. A lady like you, is a dream in life... I'd hate to tease myself with such a gem. Not to sound crude, but several ways of keeping you warm immediately sprung to mind. None of them really backyard appropriate... But I wouldn't want to offend you, for the world. |

currently in auburn, just arrived in the state last thursday

I'm not offended Frozn, but I have to admit, that is just too wierd for me. I have a daughter that will be 26 soon.

Hi, Toasted, new to Washington too, or just Auburn?
Completely understandable...
Lol... That's why I couldn't come up with and alternative source of heat... without being, weird, or something.... So, I just chose to tell you, that I'd rather not offend you, then offend you... rather then making some inappropriate remark... ... Lol... That is to say, that I have no further input on the tropical beach idea. How about those Mets? |
