I wouldn't hold it against them. I think I could give them the benefit of the doubt, I would just make sure to let them know that if they ever felt that urge again, to just go ahead and break things off with me before hand. 
and are you sure you want the emotional risk...if that does happen...my wife used to tell me...if you feel you have to go out on me...make sure you give it to her good...dont embarrass me...come to find out...she was justifying her going out on me...i would never want to go throuh that again...point blank... Yeah, only because it's what I have always said in every relationship I have been in and it's worked so far. Never been cheated on.
