I believe that there are decent guys in Jersey, but it all depends on what you define decent. To most girls, a decent guy is a guy who has tons of money and willing to spend. But to a decent girl like me, well I want a guy who wont lie and who is faithful. I have seen one too many "players" and I'm tired of the same lame ass ppl. What ever happened to well mannered men?....

What has money got to do with a guy's being decent? It certainly doesn't take money for a man to treat a woman with the proper respect and dignity. If a female is looking for "tons of money" then she's likely not going to warrant the respect as she's probably not offering much herself.

I'm quite sure there are a lot of decent men in New Jersey of all ages. Just as there are decent women in the state. I wonder how many are merely afraid to be burned once again by those unscrupulous men and women that lurk out there?

Not too worry, there are some gentleman left. The ones that grow up around women at least know about romance and have respect and understand what chivalry actually means!

Problem is, the good guys don't stay single for long. If they meet someone nice, they stop looking and stop coming to sites like these. They dissapear from view. And girls are no angels either, I've met many headcases. So please no gender bias...

There are decent guys in New Jersey. I am one of them :). What I have noticed about online dating sites is that allot of the people on here have been beat up,cheated on,betrayed or just hurt by an ex or past relationships.With that said I also noticed that people have some really high expectations and others are going purely by the pics they see Ughhhh!! It's a catch 22 if I post I am single and my kids are grown up I get what happened to the wife/marriage so I start talking about that in a tactful way and get blown off/ignored cause people don't want to hear what they just asked about>go figure. If I post that I am divorced I get the same thing.

There are good guys everywhere, even Jersey. Some are transplants, like me. But where are all the good Jersey girls? I moved here from NYC 5 years ago, and am still looking...

I used to live in NJ but left 18 years ago and yeah i miss it. Im sure there are some decent Jersey guys left- Its an amazing state that makes awesome people!
