I have a 2004 toyota celica, with alpine large speakers firestone
tires, I upgraded my supspension and my engine that comes with nos and hks turbo.. I got a 6 speed v-tex and a hot body kit..I drag race with my friends on weekends well some weekends and I do circuits, and sprints, there is a guy wirh a subaru that always beats me.. ohhhh I want to get him so bad, but his car is hoocked up.. |

having a 1966 gmc910(half ton) with a 292 inline 6 WITH a 4 barrel that is on an adapter. 0 to 90 mph in about 9 seconds.PLUS do a race on a moonlit night WITHOUT headlights on. on a loose gravel road. |

had..... in 1992. i now have a 1981 oldsmobile delta 88 royal brougham 4
door that i will be fixing up as well as a 1962 gmc 910. both are going to be on the border of insanity. i plan on getting 2 502 caddies for the projects.the trannies are going to be standard 6 speeders. i have found 10 of them in edmonton alberta.i plan on modding the front ends to take the extra wieght. |

Your going to have to get internal on the motor it sounds like going to
have to do some head work and exhaust. different cam/cams and some port work., Morena. |

Just get someone to pull the heads then takem to a machine shop it wont
cost that much to have them worked over its the pulling of the heads and reassembly thats going to cost. You'll need a header also and a flowmaster muffler. bigger throttle body, throttle body spacer, larger fuel injectors, Msd ignition. they all work togather you cant sacrifice any of these. Then theres more if you want to go to the next level, but this sould do to beat him. LOL |

ever hear of "LUNATI" engine components? i have.i might say what bhp i
want but nah. i won't. oh don't forget that the caddies were the biggest motor for daily drivers back in the 1970's.i plan on quad turboing both and put nos WITH sequential fuel injection. different intake i know i need for this to work proper. but by rough guessing i will guess at about 645 bhp at about 3250-7200 rpm's. i hope that i am correct with out doing any research. |

oh one other thing i should mention. I DO NOT HAVE A GRADE 12 OR
MECHANIC'S CERTIFICATION.i have been told just 2 weeks ago that for a 33 year old i have 65 years knowledge.secret is my step dad and my step brother have taught me alot about vehicles. i have gone in to get my cert. but got told that i know too much. that i CANNOT have my certification. |

Sounds good Joe I run 50/60's vette motors its more less just preferance
but the blocks are stronger can get 600 hp easy out of one but I like to run about 450hp. with a turbo 350 or 400 and shift kit. my last car I built was a 71 camaro my next is going to be an 82 camero with a 57 283 vette motor I have waiting in the garage. |

yes your correct, we have specialist that can work on the engine
and no problem, I will take the car to him, he is the one who fixes all of our cars...he has a shop, only for racing cars so I copied and pasted your sugestion and will email it to him I have time to work on that!! realy thanks guys and when I do beat this ****er, you guys will get my email lmao!!!lmao!! one thing I got over him,,thoe..Im learning to drift and he doens't know so I will get him! but you know how it is, have to keep my cool, is only a race but I don't know what he got under his hood!! never seen his engine and I tryed believe me!! |

Thats b.s. on the Cert. I have my ASE Certifications anyone can get them
if they met the experiance requierment and pass the tests. There harder than you think alot of field techs fail them then bashem saying you dont need them. They cover computers etc.etc.etc obd II and III ABS ON brakes you'll have to study most shops requir ASE Cert. these days. |
