You can't punish them for being kids why not? Because you can't. You can teach them appropriate behavior and correct bad behavior, but kids are kids, they don't come out of the womb knowing how to behave. And they're gonna be kids, no matter what you do anyway. You have to know how to choose your battles and let a lot of things go.
