The cookies and milk are on the counter next to the rent a weapon shelf, do not mind the zombie like member of the Royal Guard, he works for me now, I had to bend his mind a lil to get him to see things my way, if you hadn't noticed there are a few of them around here, they are indestructable, and cannot revert back to their former ways. Great for target practice, you guys can thank the king for the donation.

Today's Lesson:
Peer to Peer interaction. Part 1. Characters that have never been formally introduced do not address eachother by name! Big No No. Think of it as like going to a bar, your friends do not have a box to the left with a name underneath, nor do the people at the Green Dragon. You may try: "You There" or "Sir/Ma'am" or "Hey Ugly!" there are many more greetings out there, use your imagination, just remember, think before you speak, and you may keep your head a day longer. Part 2. Language. If you were in a room full of people, and you didn't want the whole room to be listening in on a conversation, try in a different language. *speaking elvish* now only those of us of that are elves are getting this part of the lecture. *speaking dwarven* now those pointy eared fools have no idea what we are talking about. See, Languages can be a help to one another. Now go to the tavern, and try to make at least one friend. There will be a person in the room standing alone, He is a dark elf, like myself, but, he is in white leather armor. |

Ooh, I almost forgot, if you just arrived in the thread, you cannot read back to see what has been said by who, it is just like real life, you cannot rewind time to see what people at the bar are saying about you either. I have been seening a lot of that lately, and it has been getting on my nerves, do not make me start a new thread for each day.

*Enters the academy and sees Barbus*
Hey there Barbus. I came here to see if you have any training planned for today. |
well, you have completed the day's tasks, however, if you would like to put in overtime I can continue your training.
tomorrow would probably be better friend. I will see you then
For those of you that have completed step one of the training, please add a step one completion badge to your inventory, so I know who all I have to work with.

For those of you wishing to continue, here is the lesson:
Alignment: Are you a good person or a bad person, or are you even a person at all? Alignment can be broken down into five places: Good|Neutral Good|Neutral|Neutral Evil|Evil You are somewhere on this spectrum. Example: An evil person would never stop to help an old lady accross the street, maybe throw her into it to be hit by a team of oxen pulling a carriage, but never would offer a helping hand. Where a neutral evil person may give it a little thought, possibly help, but more often than not, toss the lady under the cart. A Neutral person could do either, help or hinder, it is a 50/50 shot. I don't think I have to explain the good, and neutral good, you get the picture. What I want from you, send me an email (topic Alignment) and give me 2 examples other than what I had given you, and explain to me why a wood elf and a drow elf would not get along. |
