A long long time ago, when chipmunks walked on the ground,
and the lowely little sparrow would just jump and chirp around.
There lived a man who's face was long,
his mind was weak,
but his back was strong...

and they called him Billy han hooty of winiker mountain,

they said in a breath just as fast as could be...
if Billy han hooty you happen to see,
then you'de be running just as fast as me..
I hear that the waters running free,
Because of Billy han hooty of winiker mountain,

Oh Billy han hooty, of winiker mountain,
remember those who locked you in the cave...
Oh Billy han hooty, of winiker mountain,
gonna take us all down to the grave...

Yes it was a mid July summers day,
that ol you know who was locked away...
and it's there that the town folks thought he'd stay...
every night at their bedside you know they would pray...

There's a funny little story that only I know...
I went to winiker mountain a few months ago...
and there on the mountainside where the heavy winds blow...
in the thickest of forest where shadows they stow,

and it seemed time had stopped I was moving so slow...
I suddenly saw in the bushes where the ferns over grow,
The great, big Giant, over grown toe

Of ol Billy han hooty, of winker moutain...

and wouldn't you know...


it's a fountain....

Did you write that? It's amazing! Puts me in mind of some of the great poets. Almost like a cross between Shel Silverstein and "Rip van Winkle"
