Annie, for some reason-the powers that be just can't leave the Education system alone,no one ever seems to consult with the Teachers, do they actually believe that by giving the Teachers a bigger work load, they will automatically churn out well balanced Educated children, then when this doesn't happen,somehow the Teachers are at the blunt end again,then they change the Education minister,and he/she decide on there own hair brain ideas of how things should be done,and when the Teachers finally say we have had enough of this, and threaten some form of industrial action,the mud then gets thrown at the Teachers,with political meanderings,that the Teachers are letting down hard working families children, to me me it would seem sensible to employ the new Education minister from the ranks of the teaching profession, then you would have someone, who at the least has a good understanding and insight into the sorry mess that some pinhead who is now the Health minister has left behind,(can you see that happening).
