Well, it depends on what it is that you said. I personally make it a point to not respond to a message if it's clear that the guy didn't read my profile. I get that alot. So if you really want a girl to respond,

First:
Read the profile. If she bothered to put something there, you should bother to read it. And it will help with the second point.

Second:
Say something worth while in the message. Don't just put "hey there sexy". Take a look at what she's interested in, and ask her a question. Or perhaps comment on a interest that you share.

Try that. See if you get some more responses.

What evidence is there that "there will be no more blaming others and shaming others"? There's going to be a lot of that, darling. Setting someone up to believe that we can do whatever we like, and no one is going to say anything just isn't right. We are in a period of history where paganism (or any metaphysical belief) has a change at gaining the respect that it used to have. But in order to accomplish this we have to be able to have intelligent and convincing conversations about our beliefs.

I don't mean to insult you. Perhaps there is a great deal of merit in your point. But what you say is so ambiguous that it could me anything or nothing. For example:"there will be no more war as only peace and unity suggest". First off, we're a long way from being a world where there is no more war. It may never be something we're able to get rid of. But "as only peace and unity suggest". If there is truly peace and unity, then there would be no war. But you neglect to put a qualifier on your peace and unity. Will this be unity under a dictator who maintains peace because no one has enough freedoms to cause any trouble?

The problems with saying that we're in a time where everyone accepts everything and everyone and that everything is going to be peaceful is that it isn't true. And honestly there are some things that shouldn't be accepted. And taking peace any where you can find it isn't the right move either. If we're going to find peace it needs to be a conscious decision to chose what's best for everyone. Not peace for peace's sake.

Perhaps you should sharpen your composition skills to enhance the understanding of your readers.

What exactly does that mean? It sounds pretty and all, but it sounds like you just said that everything was sunshine and flowers.

The problem with Psychic Vampirism is that if you don't know what you're doing, it can be extremely dangerous. I know people who are, but have no idea what they're doing and end up tormenting the people around them. In all honesty, I've never meet a Psychic Vampire who used the abilities they have to help. The ones I've met that use energy transfer to help usually refer to themselves as Empaths. So perhaps it's just a terminology thing. But in general you can run into alot of problems feeding off people.

I didn't mean to make it sound like I thought everybody on here was like that. I just found his obliviousness really funny and thought some of you would too. Sorry if I offended anyone. Just trying to give you guys a laugh. :)

So I just had to get on and tell someone about tonight because I know you won't think I'm crazy. I'm not sure if tonight is the technical full moon, but it looks so lovely out there. And there's a storm coming into our area so the air outside just feels eclectic. So I grabbed a couple of my friends and we ran around outside for a while. Then we burned some sage and I cast a circle and we all made a wish. Not terribly orthodox, I know, but it was last minute and I figured a wish on a night like tonight couldn't go wrong. Then we just ran around some more and howled at the moon. It was silly I know, but so much fun. I'm sure if anyone saw us they thought we were all high. And actually some of our howls were answered, which is odd since our campus is in the middle of town. But I just wanted to tell someone since we had so much fun, and like I said I know you guys won't think I'm crazy. :P

Yeah, that does. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was worried that I was just being picky. I even had one girl say that I must not have been very good if I didn't know what it was about. I've heard of that spread, but I didn't know that it laid out for Past, Present, and Future. I've never used a spread before, so I'll have to look into it. It's probably in one of my books. Hi there! I'm new to the site, and I'm thrilled to see that is has a strong core of pagan members. So I had a question for you, since some of you seem to be fairly knowledgeable in Tarot, and I've only had my cards for a couple of years. When I have people ask me for a reading, they often don't come with a question or looking for advice on something. And I've never sure how to do those readings. I feel like what the cards are telling me could apply to anything that could or has ever happened in their lives, so I'm never sure how to help them. Is there something I can do? Maybe some sort of spread that would be good for those situations? Is it unreasonable to request that they have some sort of an idea on what they would like advice on?
