I agree.

There really is no equality.

Freedom for all, yeah right.

All U.S. Citizens Who Have Not Had Their Rights Revoked are Equally Free to Vote, and Vote they Did!

yeah, but their vote didn't count lol.

all the arguing and fighting over words, theories.
conversations about war and the lack of meaning.
calling each other names, saying ignorance and aggorance when people speak their mind. isnt that what freedom of speech is about? what about agreeing to disagree?
has anyone stopped to think maybe this is what is wrong with mankind...that this may lead to the downfall?

So your saying we should have freedom of speech?

yes but does it really solve the real problem

it puts us into a conundrum. because people tend to believe what others say, so when someone utilizing their right to free speech says that others shouldn't say something, then it becomes one more nail in the coffin of free speech itself. therefore free speech is no good for free speech.

I think it's the fault of the people who make muffins. They have duped us into the belief that muffins are a breakfast food when muffins are really sugary mini-cakes DISGUISED as the bagel's nutritious cousin. The muffins then make us fat and we hate the way we feel.

So we take it out on each other.

I've got my eye on you Otis Spunkmayer.

i know where he lives too it's on drury lane. we should pay him a visit lol.

This reminds me,
While in the 4th ID, 1/10 INFBN, our First Sgt. thought it would be a morale boost if we, 19 yr olds, pick a secret nick-name to call ourselves. (no one else was to know outside the CO.)

"We chose Widow Makers."

What, do you Floyd types, reckon that choice signifies?
?????

when one's are faced with something larger than themselves, it makes sense to them to view themselves as something worse than the proposed enemy. the name itself signified to each of you something that you didn't want the enemy to be. like 20 or so 19 yr olds holding a 100ft cardboard monster in front of you to bring fear into the enemies heart first before they realized that you were scared too.

NOooo,,

It meant we were going to kill men and make widows of their wives!

that's what i meant when i said that you didn't want your enemies to be that. because if they were, that would mean that they have killed men and made their wives widows.

Normally that's the way it works.
They kill men, we kill more men, hoping we kill more than them.
Kill them all if need be.

that's a heavy load to carry man. i just want you to know, and i think you do, that i haven't been making fun of you. i just see things sometimes. i wish i could do it for myself. if i can learn how to really truly see me, then i might make it to that next life with a little something more than i have now.

Wow the things they can do with phsycological operations (psyops) is amazing! Look what it did with this thread.
You would be amazed at how large a part psyops has to do with war.

you're right TJN, psyops is a machine that fools people into doing things their bible told them not to do.

it is only a true soldier that cannot be insulted, and does not fight for pacified baby "feelings" of self, but rather ONLY FOR JUSTICE, FOR THE WEAK AND DEFENSELESS AND SICK!!!

Give me a break,,,
YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT 19 YR OLD AMERICAN KIDS!
Often more than not, they come from some of the poorest families in America.
Those in the Infantry, the only ones who are really dangerous, are among the lowest in intelligence.
They join right after HS, mainly because society doesnt offer them much in the way of a future as a civilian.
Because they are American, they are cowboys trying to make a reputation.
That's before they are in combat. At that point every-one's attitude changes.
At that point surviving overcomes all emotions and violence a tool.
Pride, brotherhood, and historical traditions is all that keeps them standing.
Discipline keeps them from running.

and this will better them how?

It gives them something they would never have, had they not become a Soldier!
It produces pride for something other than themselves.
It gives them brothers they may never have had, and most likely never will again.
It gives them a second chance.
It gives them respect. Respect for themselves and respect for the freedoms we enjoy.

Q) then what was it that it gave you to want to hurt me the way you do?

A) it didn't give that to you, that was in you before they got to you. i dearly hope you find the reason in your life that you don't cry. only then can you rise out of the misery of inner and outer hatred.

That's not my job.
My job is to make you cry.

And then kick you around out of disgust for you acting like a little girl.rant rant laugh

when itself who has something to hide is questioned, itself will not be scrutinized. itself will retaliate with a vengance until he think the danger is passed and will be no one eles left to question itself.

well one must embrace all this for self first, before it create what it so seek to be, for rose is right, all arrogance will cripple, before the time it is seen what is different between false pride, and true pride, as true pride of truth does not ever deny what itself is, that is said by another, or it immediately has become such???

the difference is subtle, but momumental in what self can create.

it is mountain to climb out of the place of self tyranny, which is but dening anything about self, except that which self wish to be, but all that self think it is, does not exist, until what self is, be spoken back to self, not by one, or two, or some, or friends, but by all it meet, and then self know, it has found greater wisdom, that will not let itself down, by letting other's drown while it take care of itself....

peace...

very true, that is why i was careful in my response not to deny arrogance, because to deny it is to be arrogant.
