Eddie had his checkup today..he's still cancer free!!

How long has it been since Eddie was diagnosed? After 10 years of check-ups, I was declared cured. Hearing those words took a huge load from my mind (or what passes for a mind). I had my operations in 1997, so that means I am officially cancer free now for 6 years

I R even more confuzled now. Somewhere I'm sure I read where someone was being paid $2.36/ hr., and was expected to make up their wages with tips. Disregarding the legality of that arrangement for a moment, (a)tipping is NOT encouraged in NZ, hence wages would be non existant, & (b) here,if your 18 plus, you can't be paid less than 15.25/ hr.BY LAW!! You can't leave school till your 16, & in between 16 & 18 you have to be paid a minimum of 60% of the adult rate. Quite why I thought it was you who was waiting tables, I cannot say. Perhaps the brain was short of caffiene

Right at this moment, ducks with a sense of survival, are staying close to the water. In the South Pacific, it's considered unsporting to shoot at "sitting ducks".
