I'm not stating I am IMMACULATE for someone each and every time, but I like to go out with at least some eyeliner, mascara, and lip gloss and the bare MINIMUM - and cover up the darkness under my eyes if I have it..you NEVER know who you'll bump into!! :)

haha. I don't like the "tell me about you" emails. I'll usually ask them what they want to know. Most will reply with "anything!" Ewww..you're so correct. I HATE that! Really? You want to know ANYTHING? I once ate bird poop when I was 6....how's that for starters? lol |

Mine's long-winded, b/c I HATE HATE HATE it when someone just browses through it then has the audacity to ask you, "So, tell me about you." Do you know how much TIME I put into my profile so you could SEE what I'm like in some respect? Take the time to READ it, and THEN ask me certain questions. Being vague just isn't going to cut it. And it's better to be verbose right from the start - none of this, "well, I'm really nice and I like long walks on the beach" stuff. My profile allows my personality to show!

At this stage of my life, I love being a woman. I dress up, I dress down I primp. I am sponatous. Depends on the mood and the day. As for the sweats you will never find me in them. Jeans, mini skirts, dresses shorts and heels.

I was thinking about the OP, and her desire to find a police officer for a date/boyfriend/husband... With all due respect to her reasons....it feels a little like the fairytale thing....Prince Charming type set up.. A dashing hero type, a protector/dragonslayer...in his shiny (body) armour, with his weapons...who takes care of all those who can't take care of themselves....a family man, just awaiting his little princess. It does seem to parallel the fairy tale version of Prince Charming, and nothing wrong with wanting that.... Perhaps, OP, you could start your Psychology PHD now....PTSD, alcoholism, drug dependency and spousal abuse, is rife in law enforcement marriages. Not all....but many. I've been taking care of myself for quite sometime..I have good financial stability, I love my job, I know how to cook/shop (finding sales in everything!), love puppies and kittens..I just am super attracted to that oozing self-confidence of a cop! AND, everything else I've already discussed! :) No harm in that! |
