...

To be fair, they did recently make a good change: they stopped blurring profile photos.

To me, it is not the price but the principle of paying them for such terrible service.
Free members still see the blurred photos in the recent activity section if that is what you are talking about.
BTW, you must eat better than I do...my weekly groceries are usually only $50 a week...lol

I was talking about the blurred photos in the profiles, not about those in recent activity.

While I agree that the service isn't good, for me the principle has become moot -- I have already paid for the rest of my life.

Most of my grocery costs are "organic" berries; those are not cheap. Whether I eat better than you is a matter of opinion.

It was a nice feature, but not worth paying to get it. With all the problems with this site that they don't fix, I do not know why anyone would pay for this...lol

When I joined in January, they offered a lifetime membership for around $90 -- about $10 more than for 6 months. With my statistically expected lifetime, that works out to between $8 and $10 per year. Economically, this expense is totally insignificant. For example, my groceries run around $70 a week, which is around $3600 a year -- at least 360 times more than the annual expense for Mingle.

Admittedly, the problems that they cause by unnecessary site changes and ill-advised policy changes are not good. IMO, the biggest problem is that they don't listen to their users and, when they do listen, they take forever to make the user-desired changes.

To be fair, they did recently make a good change: they stopped blurring profile photos.

Does a green dot mean someone is online or was online?

I believe that when you see a green dot, that profile is online.

The subject title smells of racism. Ideally, the preference should not be based on race, but on personality.

here is my number 860-269-6870 ...

According to CheckPeople, that number is a landline and lists to a 58-year-old woman in Connecticut.

Good profile. Possibly more text in the "blurb" part.

... What a waste of money and fraud

Strong words. In fact, since fraud is a criminal act, I'm not sure that fraud is justified. While the current management seems unwilling to improve the site, the site is still usable.

Is it really possible to find true love in dating app?

Possible but unlikely. This site has a lot of scammers, so the odds of finding a real person that meshes well with you are low.

People all over the planet are waking up to the fact that a minority of people have had and still have control over the rest of us. We have been lied to on so many levels, humanities true history, the existence of Alien life, that our government's have had contact for decades. The existence of a secret space program, most of the elites have been abusing our children in the most heinous of ways, the existence of deep underground military bases, the reality of tunnel systems that run all around the planet, the deliberate manipulation of our mainstream media etc...

Do you have any evidence to back up your statements?

finding a soulmate is hard to find. want to know why

There are a number of reasons. I will just list a couple.

Humans are complicated creatures, causing a larger number of factors that have to mesh.

Soulmates, if they exist for a given individual, are few and far between, particularly in regard to geographic distance.

Bottom line: most of us have to settle for a reasonable approximation of a soulmate.

Let's be honest... women age like milk

1) They get flabbier

2) Things start sagging

3) More wrinkles

4) They have more miles on em

5) They produce less estrogen - giving them a more mannish appearance

We all already know this, so we can say that the OP probably has a different agenda

All except 5) applies to men, too. Men's version of 5) is that they produce less testosterone.

... you need to put a cork in their mouth and put them in a cellar for a few years?...lol

With some women I have met, doing so would be a wonderful idea. In fact, with such women, I'd prefer to keep them there until I'm dead.

The only hope I have of these problems getting fixed is for the current owners to sell out and let someone else take it over. They MIGHT get someone who still cares about quality control and then they have a list of problems to start with...

Hope springs eternal ...

You can go to the Bug Report section of the forums and put in another complaint about it, but I am afraid it is like no one cares that this site does not work right ...

I have complained strongly about this already. I am not sure whether the people who are supposed to fix problems are incompetent, indifferent, or overloaded.

Bottom line: complaining has no effect whatsoever.
