Yes PT will help....but you have to keep up with the exercises or its fruitless. If before Wednesday it gives you a run for your money painwise....my advice is ICE.....HEAT.....ICE 20 minutes each back to back.

Feel better

Thanks, I'll try that.drinker

Thanks. Me too! I have to go back to work tomorrow night. Needless to say, I'll definately keep my butt at my desk.

You'll need to walk around every once in a while and gently stretch the back muscles. The PT should have shown you what to do.

I don't have the appointment with the PT until Wednesday. Hopefully they'll give me a massage and give me some stretching exercises to do.

Hopefully it all works. I need to be ready to go when I get my call to move to Puerto Rico bigsmile

I just went to my normal doc. He sent me to a physical therapist. I'm hoping that will do the trick. I think it's actually a combination of stress and then overdoing it on my first day back. I'm usually in the office so getting out and chasing people hasn't been my bag for sometime now. It'll pass...thanks!

I recently realized that I'm not as young as I had thought I was. About a little over two weeks ago I tweeked my back chasing after someone (work related...nothing crazy) and my back has yet to heal. I've been stretching, popping pills (pain killers/muscle relaxers) and nothing seems to work.

Anyway, just thought I would put that out there as I'm lying down trying to forget the pain.

Your opinions?
At first I thought this thread had something to do with KY-Kentucky....I was baffled for about 30 minutes then...explode it hit me!

My 22 yr. old son is dating a 35 yr. old women. I think that's way to old I can see a few yrs. But my God she was graduating high school when he was starting kindergarten.

When I was 28 I dated a woman who was 38. We got along great and only split because her parents didn't approve. We still talk and hang out as friends but I think she may regret that it ended the way it did.

My point is I think parents need to learn when to let go. If your child (who by the way is an adult now...my mom refers to me as her "son" not "child") is happy, then you should be happy for them and be there if/when they need you; just don't try to run their life.

love song to hear while you're depressed??
My brother played "anytime" by Brian Mcknight. Yea... that was like taking a bullet to the chest.
Doesn't get much worse...

see ... you obviously know that song.
It's a great song if you're somewhat happy...but listen to it while you're depressed and you'll be ready to take a long walk off of a short pier in no time.

Well, since I believe in romance and have failed in past relationships, yes I will be doomed to repeat it since I will not change my thinking! sad

I just want a relasionship i dont want to destory my family 20 years old and never had a long term relasionship

yea but my father isnt going to retire and he is one mean bastard last time i made a mistake i got a full 5 gallon gas can thrown at me. there are not many people where i live

I hate to sound inconsiderate and/or disrespectful so pardon my bluntness before you read the rest of my post.

You're 20 years old; sounds like it's time to grow a backbone. You're right about one thing though, you've got 2 options.

1. Stay there and take his mess to keep him happy and/or stake claim to the inheritance.

OR...

2. Stand up, be a man and tell him to kick rocks! I understand he's family in all but what do you need with family that won't/can't realize your worth??

Just my dos centavos...buenas suerte

im new can some one tell what mutual matches means thanks cheryl:smile:

If you have a message showing that you have a mutual match then you have to rate people to see if they are the one that clicked yes. In my experience it's usually the first person that comes up in the "match with" section.
