You're not too far off the mark there, sir. I've seen this many times. There are so many jaded women out there, esp when they get into their 40's-50's. Many have been hurt so badly and so often by so many, that they are blind to the men who are not that way (and there still are quite a few men who are sincerely respectful, kind, and honest in their relationships). This is especially true if the guy is at all decent looking. Women seem to run off in the opposite direction when a good-looking man makes a move towards them and they don't think of themselves as being "pretty enough". Trust me on this. I run into this situation a lot.
To the OP: You're a very nice looking woman, but your posted picture should show you with a nice smile. Instead, I see a woman who is not confident and unhappy. You're a target for the wolves.
