ok guys, this is my first real thread and I chose to do it on one of the
greatest acts of love, which is self-sacrifice just like Jesus did for
us. I would gladly give my life if it meant salvation for others. Would
any of you have done the same? Also there are many other forms of
self-sacrifice. Has anyone done something selfless for you or have you
done something to show that you love someone? I would have to say that I
love my mother for everything she's ever done for me. A mother never
stops sacrificing :) So if you have any stories to share please do!

oh i see. yes it's best to be not like this "world" but i'm using this
as a means of communication so to speak. i want to tell the world the
good news of the Kingdom! there is no problem w/using the internet for
that purpose.

me too alpine. back in my "dark days" i listened to the likes of
slipknot, manson, horrible bands like that but not anymore. never again.
i look back now and realize that the darker the music, the darker my
mood. i wish i could i get my brother to see what i see. he listens to
that stuff :(. i've also turned away from modern movies, they're so
awful anymore. i stick to the classics (fried green tomatoes!)
