I think that a person will, to a degree, be attracted to other people they meet, no matter how 'happy' they are in a relationship.
That being said, how much they allow themselves to dwell on that attraction, despite being in that happy relationship, has everything to do with the degree of commitment and loyalty that have for their SO. |

To the OP - he doesn't sound like such a good friend if the friendship revolves around him getting the close intimacy of your friendship without him contributing the same level back to you.
Just my two cents but he needs to grow a pair and be honest with you if he's really your friend. |
