Why does it seem that it is a social taboo to be curvy? I don't really get it... As a latin woman, I can't exactly shy away from being curvy either. Ya know, women who model tend to be abnormally thin... and their dimmensions are meant to be small simply because the person [model] is not what matters to the designer let alone the industry...it's the clothes....and in my view, curvy women can be just as sexy if not SEXIER than those model-esque types. I guess my issue here is that as a curvy gal, I feel like im always going to be viewed at least socially, as "not good enough." That self-consciousness ultimately hinders my dating scene...and that SUCKS. Comments are appreciated. lol
