Just watching the snow flakes fall, they are coming to fast to count! Rick, where did you post your weather map? 50 and over Current weather....... Ok I found that but I don't see the "Lew-Aub" area 
They changed the map again, sit on top of the #6

Keeping good thoughts for your daughter.
Thanks Sage! Everything seems to being ok now. Really had us upset Friday. When they tell you it is going to be 45 minutes to an hour and the surgery goes on for 3 1/2 hours after the complictions. It took its toll on me and her husband. It has taken me until now to come back to the land of the living. hg I am so glad you and your daughter are doing better! So am I!!! I should not have taken that whole pill while we were talking that sucker did not want to let me go. I was in a cloud now for two days. Oh no!! I didn't know or I would have told you not to take the whole thing!! |

Everyone is hiding tonite. How is Music this evening? Hi July, HG. Hi everybody, I have had a pretty good day. Rylee (granddaughter) came over this morning and helped me out. She got the clothes out of the dryer, ran the dust mop on the hardware floors, and mopped up the really bad spots on the kitchen floor. She loves to help!! She can come help me anytime
she would enjoy it, she loves to be a helper!!! that's good news for me

This afternoon I went over to visit Kendall and Andrew. Kendall let me play with her Barbie dolls. Andrew woke up with a fever. He didn't feel good at all so wouldn't come to Nana today.

Having lived in this area most of my life it is still kind of funny to see transplants get worried about snow storms. The food stores have been mobbed for two days. Many people still think the all season tires will be ok, what a joke. Its just another day.
It's all relative I guess. When I first moved to Ft. Lauderdale, I lived two blocks from the beach. Within a few months we got evacuated because a hurricane was coming. I went to fill up my car and there was a half-mile line at the gas station. I went to the grocery and there was no food. Being a newbie, I didn't know what this was all about and said to a local person, "Geez, you'd think it was going to snow or something." Their reply was "This is worse than a snowstorm." Unfortunately, I lived to find out what they meant - several times!! But, eventually I became pretty complacent about hurricane warnings. |

Good morning flame! How are you feeling? Dr's appt. in two days right? The situation with my back is still very tenuous. It will take time I know, but it is frustrating. I am sure you know all about that by now

We got about nine inches of snow yesterday and no rain. I live at the foot of a mountain and all the snow from the White Mts in New Hampshire passes this way and dumps on our little valley. Have a great weekend!

The nurses I've ever talked to would have enjoyed telling the horror stories they put you through afterwards. We are known for our distasteful conversation at the dinner table. We forget that everyone doesn't see and do what we do every day!!

You need to come out here for the winter. Cold here is a high of "only" 60. People have hats, coats and gloves on at 55.
