The director of Scrapbook has done some "doozies", like I Spit on Your Corpse, I Piss on Your Grave ![]() I tried talking to that dude (Eric Stanze I think) at Screamfest. I wanted to tell him how much his movies sucked. He was standing behind his cronies and was trying to communicate through them. I just walked away laughing. Funny as hell. Yeah...he had one called "Ice From The Sun" or something that was pretty bad. Scrapbook was the only one I kinda liked. |

I'd say it depends on their age. If they're 21 & have been divorced 3 times...then, yeah. Red flag. BIG red flag. haha

With Great Power...The Stan Lee Story
Great documentary. The guy really is a superhero himself. I couldn't imagine a world without him. In the middle of rewatching What's Eating Gilbert Grape? now. |

Didn't bother to read the whole thread, but I'll throw out a few I enjoyed over the last decade.
Wrong Turn Rest Stop High Tension The Hills Have Eyes (remake) Dawn Of The Dead (remake) All the newer Texas Chainsaw Massacre films 28 Weeks Later Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 All the "Scream" films All the Final Destination films (except for the last one...part 5 I think...idk...I lost count) The first "Saw" film (the rest of them suck) AVP I know I'm missing a bunch, but I enjoyed a lot of the "torture porn" films that came out in this era. Also a few foreign films. |

Made the road trip from Omaha to Northern Cali (Monterey/Carmel area) back in the 80's when I was a kid.
I don't recall a whole lot of stops as much as the drive itself. Colorado was awesome & Lake Tahoe/Reno was very beautiful. Those are the two things that stood out the most for me. Have fun & be safe! |

Cool. Found it on Netflix. Watching it tonight.
Watched "A Dangerous Method" last night. It was alright. Good for what it was I guess. I really think Cronenberg needs to get off this drama trip and do another horror piece though. |

I try not to worry about it. I just live in the now. I think too many people have adopted this view and are doing more damage in the process. I think in Psychology there is a phenomenon called diffusion of responsibility...if others are around there is always someone else there, who will take responsibility... unfortunatly nothing gets done if everyone thinks that way Responsibility? I work, pay my taxes, recycle and try to make at least one person smile everyday. Can't I just enjoy life without worrying about what the future holds? Sheeesh... ![]() |
