Recently on the "match me" section of Mingle. I always read profiles regardless how cute or sexy I find a guy BUT I have to admit... When I see children in a guys profile pic I move on. I don't mind the babies but if I'm dating YOU why the baby in your profile pic hon? Guys PLEASE don't tell me... My kids are number 1 before anyone!,I get it..I respect it. To me this is a given.. You love your kids. Is it just me...who finds this a little off putting? I think if you see someone with their kid in their profile pics and it causes you to move along maybe it's for the best. Basically if you are going to form a relationship then eventually you will end up living together and their kids will be some part of your life. I can see people not wanting other people to put up their kids pictures for obvious reasons but the dating person should act as a buffer and a fail safe. No matter who you meet or how you take a risk. If I had kids I wouldn't put up their pictures or introduce them to people I really didn't know (new dating people) to reduce the risk of negative events/effects. The chances are small but I am risk adverse.
