Last night there was a total eclipes of the moon. With the darkness of the night sky if you would have looked at the eastern sky you would have seen a red dot, that would have been Mars. Like you have said this is the time that Mars is at its closes. However it looks like a bright star. We see it as a white dot, During an eclipes it take a telescope to see it red. Last night you would have seen it red WITHOUT the telescope. Last nidht I looked at the sky at 3:30 on my way to work. The moon was still in the eclipes. I didn't see Mars,But that was the first time in my life that I saw the moon in an area that was dark. I was amazed at the moon. It looked like a ball just hanging in the sky. WHAT A SIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I guess people like "serchin" will have to waite untill 2287 to see it.

Daniel, Some states have a State Guard. That is NOT a part of the
National Guard. Now if one of those States that border Mexico have one
they should put them on the wall. That state will have to take care of
them not the Feds so it would either be volunteer{no pay} or their state
will pay them.

Here's one reason that you can't put the guardsman on the wall the way
you think. The guardsman has training that they have to do on their
weekend drills and two week training. They can't do that while watching
the wall. However the President did put the Guardsman on the wall for a
while. He can do that. The Army National Guard and Air National Guard
has two commanders, The Home Governor and the President.
