I love the mist that sprinkles
down from the sky
in the mornings of a rainy day,
It just brings a calming peace inside
though it's quite cloudy and grey

Somehow, I just can't seem
to get out of my pajamas
and this cup of coffee sure taste great,
I'm excited like a kid all because the rain

It's quite amazing to see
how everything has changed,
the wet cement on the ground
the puddles here and there
the dew on the flowers
how beautiful they lay

Now the rain's a little stronger
with big droplets falling from the sky
on the ground preforming pirouettes
dancing with much life

The clouds are all so puffy
with streaks of white and grey
I can't see the sun for it had gone away,
Hiding behind the clouds that roll by
such is this beautiful place,
as nature tends to come alive
right before my face.
